Children learn by building knowledge and creativity through hands on experiences, and an environment that allows those important skills to be explored and defined is important.

We frequently go on field trips to further the preschoolers knowledge about the community and world around them. A trip to the Parks Visitor Center for example, will teach them about local wildlife and let them interact with sensory tables. A visit to the grocery store combined with a store classroom theme will help them learn about fruits, vegetables, their colors and shapes, along with where the food comes from.

Social language and life skills are needed to grow in their world.

Physical education is very important in a childs life, balance, hand eye coordination and outdoor games will be part of the daily agenda.

Parents are encouraged to volunteer and be involved with the children. Not only does this create a stronger parent-child bond, it also helps build the childs self-confidence.

All of these building blocks will help your child to be more educated and prepare them for kindergarden.
